Photometry
What is checked by the qualification service and why is it important for a photometer?
For the Eppendorf BioPhotometers, the number of flashes of the xenon lamp is defined and set using a special service filter.
A check of the light path is necessary in order to determine any impurities in the cuvette shaft.
Only through regular calibration can compliance with the manufacturer's specifications be checked and correcting adjustments be made to the instrument if necessary
